Topic: How to correctly add multiple lines to an invoice?

I am trying to add multiple lines to an invoice, but it gives me an incorrect reference number. I am adding multipe lines by reusing this code multiple times, which should not have problems because it sets each important variable to a fresh object each time.

The API sends back an error (same one) even If I use this code just once. The only thing I changed from the example is removed setUnitPrice() and replaced it with setRate().

Item reference 18 does exist, and it's a service if that makes a difference...

Here's the error:

Should I use different variables each time?

Thank you!!!

LOL I spent all day on it yesterday, turns out i forgot to remove the example's customer reference number

You really should make this api foolproof with better errors, or is that controlled by quickbooks?

Thanks for making this, God bless!

Re: How to correctly add multiple lines to an invoice?

The errors come directly from Intuit.
